The Challenge
Business
Cost Savings
Wichita Public Schools was running Oracle E-Business Suite Financials on-premises, on the Solaris operating system. They also had PeopleSoft HCM running on-premises, on a Microsoft Windows environment. It was determined that the District could save hundreds of thousands of dollars by lifting and shifting their PeopleSoft HCM ERP to OCI. Additionally, the District needed a place to archive their E-Business Suite ERP data after converting to Oracle ERP Cloud and they found that OCI was a cost-effective place to do so.
