The Challenge

mta1
Business

MTA had several business challenges that resulted from manual testing of their PeopleSoft application pillars like FSCM, HCM, ELM, and EPM.

  • MTA was not current on the PeopleTools and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) versions
  • Manual testing - Resource and Time constraints
  • Significantly long test cycles - No ability to schedule PeopleSoft testing with the use of test scripts
  • No access to real-time test metrics needed to make business decisions
mta2
Technology

MTA was on FSCM 9.2 (Financials and Supply Chain Management), HCM (Human Capital Management), ELM (Enterprise Learning Management), EPM (Enterprise Performance Management), and PeopleTools 8.59. Still, they had not implemented the PeopleSoft Test Framework due to resource and time constraints.

  • Still doing manual testing of the PeopleSoft application.
  • No ability to run, edit, schedule test scripts run via PIA
  • Behind the PeopleSoft application, new features
  • No access to real time test metrics with Fluid homepages, Navigation collection and reports generated using analytics
